The focus of <no W studios> is on mastering, mixing, and electronic sound production – so far via personal exchange (and non-commercial), but the plan for the future is to offer some services online as well and extend them to remote drum recording. The genre focus is pop, alternative/indie, rock, and electronic music.

High-quality software (e.g., Fabfilter, Hofa, Izotope, Soundtoys, Waves) and hardware (e.g., spl, Tegeler Audio, Elysa, Neumann) form the hybrid backbone of the productions. Among the hardware there are two self-assembled classics, a 1176 compressor and a Pultec EQ!

The mixing and mastering room is centered around a MOTU audio interface and monitoring devices from Focal and Yamaha. In the drum recording room, there is a Mapex kit equipped with Evans, dw, Tama, and Paiste components.

<no W studios> are currently a one-man show – hello, my name is Thomas! After taking music classes as a child, I founded the band Wasteland with my best friends and started to play the drums at the age of 15. After many concerts (including one gig in the legendary New York club CBGB at the end of the 90s) and two studio recordings, my first laptop marked the beginning of producing music myself; 20 years of experience have resulted from that. In the age of mass music productions and increasing automatism, <no W studios> strive to treat (your) music with empathy and patience.
